Rio, created by Blue Sky Studios and animated by 20th Century Fox Animation, is a 2011 musical adventure comedy film. Scened in the titular Brazilian city, the story follows Blu, a male Spix’s macaw, as he makes a triumphant return to Brazil after being smuggled to the United States to mate with Jewel, the seemingly last representative of his kind.
