Many have already mentioned Origin as a project to keep an eye on later this year, so it must be well on its way. Keeping that in mind, the following is our current understanding of Origin.
Origin Movie Release Date
On March 11, 2024, the Origins DVD is expected to be released, with the Blu-ray version following on the same day. The normal window for a DVD release following a film’s theatrical debut is twelve to sixteen weeks.
If a film is made specifically for an online streaming service like Apple TV+, it may never be released on DVD.
Where Is ‘Origin’ Available to Watch?

The news that DuVernay and Netflix would be working on this movie initially broke in 2020. Some viewers, particularly those who like to view from the comfort of their own homes, were irritated to learn that Netflix had severed ties to the initiative by January 2023.
Having said that, the production now has more leeway than it would have had with a Netflix influence, which bodes well for the film’s potential. People are now waiting for the film to be released in theaters. But considering their history with the picture, Netflix might still end up acquiring streaming rights down the road.
