The protagonist of this Japanese sci-fi thriller is a gamer who, together with his buddies, finds themselves transferred to another reality where they must participate in perilous games in order to survive.

A gamer named Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) is transported to a bizarre, abandoned version of Tokyo, Japan (based on Haro Aso’s best-selling manga series of the same name), where he and his pals must participate in deadly, sadistic games to remain alive. It’s incredible how nice it is.
Will Alice in Borderland Return for a Third Season?
Yes! Netflix has officially greenlit a third season of Alice in Borderland.
The announcement was made via a teaser video uploaded on X (previously Twitter) by the streaming service, which informed viewers, “You may draw another card. Season 3 of Alice in Borderland has been confirmed.

When is Season 3 of Alice in Borderland Coming Out?
While Alice in Borderland has the potential to be a fantastic series, the release of new episodes is painfully slow. Seasons 1 and 2 were separated by two years, and a comparable gap between now and the next installment seems reasonable.
It’s quite improbable that new episodes of Alice in Borderland would premiere before 2024, considering the third season wasn’t announced until September 2023. This might mean that the program will return to its traditional Christmas release date in 2024.

In Season 3, Who Will Play Alice in Borderland?
Season 3 of Alice in Borderland will see the return of Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya in the roles of Arisu and Usag.
According to Netflix’s press release, “Fans can look forward to witnessing the evolution of these characters in the ever-threatening landscape of Borderland” (with Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya returning as Arisu and Usagi).
“Shinsuke Sato’s continued direction will also ensure that the series maintains its trademark intensity and cinematic excellence.”
