This week’s episode of The Masked Singer took viewers back to the 1990s. The judges, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke, brought major ’90s vibes to the show as Tag Team performed “Whoomp! (There It Is),” which served as the show’s opening number. Walrus introduced himself as a ’90s heartthrob to begin the contest for Lambs’ throne.
You could find Walrus “at your local mall, surrounded by a full house of screaming fans, signing autographs and taking pictures with your mom,” according to his clue package, which featured a cat named Jenny and a picture with the caption “summer to remember.”

According to Walrus, his career began “when I tap danced on the desk of a legendary late-night talk show host.” The beginning of my “heartthrob origin story” was that. “A catchphrase still permanently cemented into pop culture,” continued Walrus. Spin Doctors “Two Princes” was covered by Walrus. The 44-year-old Scherzinger told Walrus, “You are no joke.
Lance Bass of *NSYNC offered a CD as an additional hint. The 43-year-old Bass said, “This mix is made to give you a break from heartache — and yes, they’re all my T.V. theme songs.” The panel suggested Joey Lawrence, Mario Lopez, and John Stamos as potential members of the Walrus group.
Milkshake rapped about making hits “ever since I was a kid” in the clue package. The dairy dessert also referred to himself as the “biggest name in the game” and claimed to have “dropped a mixtape, and it was certified fire.”
A baseball swing, peach pits, and orange juice were depicted on the clue package. Milkshake continued the rapping when he covered “Jump On It” by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Danielle Fishel from Boy Meets World revealed Milkshake’s additional clue: “A playlist ideal for your main event, after party, and pregame. Just ask Snoop and Wiz.”

Rappers L.L. Cool J, D.J. Jazzy Jeff, and T.I., as well as NFL stars Tyreek Hill and Ezekiel Elliott, have all been suggested as Milkshakes. Lambs finally make a comeback to protect their throne. One of the Lambs stated in their clue packet, “We gotta keep focused, and I mean concentrated.” Popcorn, a diamond ring, an antique T.V., and a film reel were all included in the bundle.
Lambs performed Alanis Morissette’s song “Ironic.” Scherzinger declared, “You precious little Lambs are going straight to the semifinals with the championship.” Bass gave one more hint to end the evening. He said to go your own way and travel the nation with your closest friends. “Make those fantasies come true.” The judges speculated that The Lambs might be The Chicks or SVW.
The panel and judges then cast their votes for the best performance of the evening. The participant whose name was revealed first was the one who garnered the fewest votes. Unexpectedly, host Nick Cannon stated that Walrus would be leaving first. Lawrence, an actress who is 46, may be identified by Thicke under the tusks and yellow jacket.

Lambs and Milkshake were the last remaining players in the Battle Royale. They each gave Haddaway’s “What Is Love” their unique spin. Following a second round of voting by the judges, Lambs’ slowed-down rendition of the ’90s dance song gave them the victory and a place in the semifinals.
The night’s final contestant to reveal his identity was Milkshake, and when he did, NFL athlete Le’Veon Bell appeared on stage. Fox broadcasts The Masked Singer every Wednesday at 8 p.m. E.T.
