Several reliable sources inside the gaming industry predicted that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be announced by Take-Two Interactive on May 17, 2017, during an investor call.
Tom Henderson, who leaked information about Call of Duty, however, said in a video that GTA 6 could come out in 2024 or 2025. Henderson’s statements were corroborated by Jason Schreier, a reporter for Bloomberg.
The latest information about when GTA 6 will be released has fans excited. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick was heard in a leaked audio tape on X (previously Twitter), suggesting that Grand Theft Auto 6 could be released on October 24, 2024.
Since then, the article has been removed. The voice clip’s veracity cannot be verified, although the purported release date does square with earlier disclosures.
