At a concert celebrating King Charles III’s coronation, Katy Perry’s stunning performance of her famous song “Roar” had the young British royals tapping their feet in their seats. The singer sang two songs from her discography, “Roar” and “Firework,” on stage at Windsor Castle while wearing a gold ballgown with Disney Princess accents.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte, two of King Charles’s grandkids, were seen bopping along in their seats during “Roar,” including a drone show of a lion in the skies above the stage. Charlotte appeared to be singing along. During a brief pause in the middle of her performance, Perry, who was present as the British Asian Trust’s ambassador, expressed her delight at being a part of the occasion.
She told the 20,000-person crowd, “I am so glad to be here with you folks. I love you so much. I got to bring my mom; she is overjoyed to be here. Therefore I am thrilled to celebrate this entire weekend. It was no massive issue that we got to stay in Windsor Castle.

“Thank you for having me at this coronation celebration,” Perry said. The work we do together for the British Asian Trust, the Children’s Protection Fund, and the King are the subjects of the following song, which I want to dedicate to them. I appreciate you igniting the fireworks in so many young individuals.
