After the latest update, there are approximately 30 new Terraria bosses available for you to fight. You can skip some bosses. However, defeating some bosses is compulsory for you to unlock new NPCs, get the right weapons to move ahead and also to achieve a harder difficulty setting. It doesn’t matter in which Terraria Boss Order you are following.
To fight with the bosses, you can follow any Terraria boss order. But if you want to get a better chance at winning and moving towards the next boss as soon as possible, we will advise you to follow the Terraria boss order as mentioned below.
Best Terraria Boss Order That You Should Follow
The first list Terraria boss whose order we will be discussing are the Pre Hardmode Bosses. These are a sort of warm-up for the real fight that will begin once the hard mode bosses appear.
- King Slime.
- Eye of Cthulhu.
- Eater of Worlds.
- The brain of Cthulhu.
- Queen Bee.
- Skeletron.
- Wall of Flesh.
Terraria Hardmode Boss Order
After these bosses come to the Hardmode Bosses, the first hard mode boss will appear after you have destroyed Wall of Flesh once. Remember that hard mode bosses are a bit more complicated than the previous bosses that you fought.
The most difficult boss to fight against in Terraria comes in this category. Its name is Moon Lord. We would advise you to fight against Moon Lord in the end.
- Queen Slime.
- The Destroyer.
- The Twins.
- Skeletron Prime.
- Plantera.
- Golem.
- Empress of Light.
- Duke Fishron.
- Lunatic Cultist.
- Moon Lord.
Terraria Event Bosses Order
The next few bosses whose predictable order that we will be discussing are the Event Bosses. Most probably the bosses will come in this order only. These bosses come in waves only during specific occasions and cannot be avoided.
- Dark Mage.
- Ogre.
- Betsy.
- Flying Dutchman.
- Mourning Wood.
- Pumpking.
- Everscream.
- Santa NK1.
- Ice Queen.
- Martian Saucer.
- Solar Pillar.
- Nebula Pillar.
- Vortex Pillar.
- Stardust Pillar.
Fighting in this order will increase your chances of climbing up the ladder in Terraria. Let us know if you agree with our order in which the bosses should be fought. If you follow a different order, share it with us so that we can try it out as well.
In my opinion, Fishron can be extremely easy especially once you have The fishron flail (idk what its called) and fishron wings, and if you don’t have that, use shroomite armor as a ranger with sniper, and an extremely fast shooting weapon that uses chlorophyte bullets Such as megashark, Uzi, etc.., along with frost wings and a big arena and its super easy.
Equipible stuff you might want are besides wings: any shield (to prevent knockback) Ninja gear, Band of regen (or the combined version), and Boots (preferably rocket boots, or anything combined up to the point that you can use the boots to fly. This gives extra height (it may be slight but it can help), Friends can also help as well if they have a similar set up with war, mage, and summoner (or all ranger)
