On August 30, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will receive the Season 5 Reloaded update. The new multiplayer map, another Warzone Resurgence map, and the arrival of Lara Croft as a new operator were all announced in Activision’s most recent blog post for Call of Duty’s midseason update.
When Will Season 5 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Be Reloaded?
Season 5 Reloaded for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will launch worldwide on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 9 AM PT | 12AM ET.
Once the new patch has been installed, gamers can expect the same smooth sailing as always.
New Game Modes for Warzone 2 in its Upcoming Season 5 Reloaded
In Warzone 2, Season 5 Reloaded will bring one whole new mode and the return of an old favorite.
First up is a condensed version of the Al Mazrah adventure called Fore Resurgence. This mode, along with its newly updated map, is designed for shorter matches in intimate lobbies.

It will “include the entire Al Bagra Fortress point of interest and immediate surroundings.”
Next, the time-limited Armored Royale mode is coming back. Only quads will be made accessible in Season 5 Reloaded. The goal is to keep your MRAP vehicle intact at all costs.
Weapons Overhauled for Season 5: Reloaded
Three new weapons are available in both BR and Multiplayer modes in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 thanks to the Season 5 Reloaded update.
The ever-expanding Call of Duty arsenal now includes the Pickaxe Melee Weapon, the Lachmann Shroud Submachine Gun, and the 9mm Daemon Pistol.
