The California native entered the program during the ninth season, which debuted in 2014 and was previously wed to David Beador. They were married for 17 years after getting married in September 2000. Shannon and David welcomed twins Stella and Adeline in June 2004 as well as a daughter named Sophie in June 2001.
Following the Bravo star’s admission that David had an extramarital affair during RHOC season 10 in June 2015, Shannon and the businessman had to deal with infidelity in their marriage. David stunned Shannon in August 2016 with a public vow renewal, more than a year after she revealed he was having an extramarital affair. In October 2017, the couple announced their separation, but it was too late.

The founder of Real for Real declared her recently single status in January 2023. Shannon began dating John Janssen in 2019 after being divorced from her ex-husband. The two of them had been introduced through common acquaintances. Viewers first encountered John in season 15 of RHOC, where the two struggled through the coronavirus pandemic.
Shannon disclosed that the couple had broken up after more than three years of dating.
