If you are a true fan of role-playing games, then you must be aware of the game Terraria. Somehow, if you aren’t familiar with the game, then let me tell you about it. In Terraria, a player aims to build houses, explore your surroundings, dig and fish for ores. But the best thing which every player likes about this game is; this game provides them with wings. Yup, you read it right. I am talking about the Terraria wings which you can equip to explore your surroundings in the game.
The Terraria wings are accessories available for the character. These new arms allow them to fly temporarily in hard-mode by just pressing and holding the jump button. The flight time will automatically reset when you decide to rest on solid objects or mountains. The time will also reset if you use climbing items like Ropes, Hooks, Shoe Spikes, and Climbing Claws.
How to Get Wings in the Game?
You get wings in the game by crafting them. For example, you must have 20 Soul of Flight, ten feathers, and 25 Souls of Light to create and equip Angel Wing.
How to use Terraria Wings?
Several Terraria wings allow players to hang at a certain height by just holding the down arrow key while flying. During the flight, you can also accelerate the climbing speed by pressing the up arrow key.
If your flying time is worn out, then you can glide by pressing the space bar and up arrow key. Furthermore, if you want to increase the gliding speed, then press and hold the down arrow button beside.
If the player has low immunity, then the wings will protect from fall damage. But it won’t work if the Stoned debuff disallows you.
Going on a flight with wings is much more convenient as they give you a more excellent flying range in comparison to Rocket Boots, Spectre Boots, etc. When you decide to equip the wings in Terraria, the jump will be entirely replaced with the flying option, just need to double jump to activate the sides.
You can also acquire double jump accessory such as Cloud in a Bottle to get a new jump, which you can use after using all flight time.
How Many Total Wings are Available for Players?
Currently, there are a total of 142 wings available for the players on all platforms. The Number of wings in Terraria for each platform are as follow.
- Forty-six types of wings for Desktop/PC players.
- Thirty-Nine for Console users.
- Thirty-Six on Mobile (Including all operating systems).
- Twenty-One on Old-gen console and 3DS version.
Each platform user gets a long list of wings to choose from. But we suggest you choose the best pair of wings before deciding to take a long flight because the flight time and speed may vary by the version you select.
