In his later years, John Aniston appeared weak, but there was little evidence to suggest that he was ill. According to Jennifer’s statement, John passed away “painlessly,” indicating that he did not have a severe illness and most likely passed away due to old age.

Aniston treated himself to a $1.50 hot dog from Costco after his shopping trip while his wife, Sherry, tucked into a slice of pizza. The pair made some purchases, one of which was a case of six extra-large bottles of red wine. John did not look sick, even though he required assistance to move around.

He was the third of four children in the family. John was first exposed to the performing arts at an early age after his family relocated to Chester, Pennsylvania, so his father could operate a restaurant there. After that, he started show business with his first guest stint on the CBS sitcom Brenner.

Before that, he had attended Penn State University and served in the United States Navy. Since then, he has made guest appearances on different television series, but to this day, his most notable performance was as the antagonist Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives.

His first appearance on the soap opera was in 1969, when he played the doctor role. He left the show after roughly a year, but he came back in 1985 to portray the role of Victor. He maintained acting in part right up until the time of his death.

Sherry Rooney, John’s son Alex Aniston, and Jennifer, his daughter, are the only members of John’s family to survive his passing. The fan sends their warmest wishes to their family.
