John Aniston Dies At 89: John Aniston, a star of Days of Our Lives, passed away. The seasoned actor, who was also the father of Jennifer Aniston, gained popularity for his role as Days’ Victor Kiriakis beginning in 1985. The Friends alum revealed on Monday that her father passed away on November 11.

The series released a statement on Twitter and Instagram that read, “Our hearts are devastated by the loss of our beloved family member John Aniston.” “John, we adore you. Your legacy will endure.” Ken Corday, who is a co-creator of the series, also spoke with PEOPLE.

John was a legend, but more than that, he served as a source of support and cohesion for the Days of Our Lives community.
