Mary Marquardt, who was born in 1945, and Harrison met while attending the liberal arts college Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, and got married on June 18, 1964. Harrison worked his way up in Hollywood while Mary earned a degree in culinary arts and pursued a career in the food industry.
Benjamin, the couple’s first child, was born on September 22, 1966. Willard, their second child, was born on May 14th, 1969.
