Final Fantasy 14 Reveals New Details About Patch 6.3
With only a few weeks left until the release of Patch 6.3, Final Fantasy 14 has revealed some new information regarding the upcoming update. A recent Letter from the Producer Live will be held in Final Fantasy 14 in exactly one week. Thus this announcement couldn’t come at a better time.
Patch 6.3, “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble,” was discussed in the previous episode of Letter from the Producer Live, hosted by Final Fantasy 14’s director and producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida and worldwide community producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi.
Patch 6.3 is a significant update that will alleviate the game’s current content drought with new primary story material like a new dungeon and trial, a new 24-player alliance raid, and job balancing modifications that include significant changes for paladins.
The patch notes for version 6.3 of Final Fantasy 14 were released to the public on December 15. The updated information and photographs can be seen on the dedicated website. Zero, a voidsent denizen of the Thirteenth Shard, was first presented to players in Patch 6.2, “Buried Memory,” and was later encountered during the game’s main story quests.

Zero returned to the world of the Source with the Warrior of Light and their allies after a series of negotiations and fights. Lapis Manalis, the new dungeon that will be available after the update goes live, will let players delve further into the history of Garlemald while pitting them against a scythe-wielding marionette.
The updated graphics included the marionette and the key art from the patch. The critical image featured the Warrior of Light and Zero, decked out in paladin and reaper gear, peering off into the distance and squarely at the fourth wall.
The release date for Patch 6.3 for Final Fantasy 14 is expected to be revealed at the future Live Letter broadcast, which is scheduled to air in the first week of January 2023. This broadcast will discuss the upcoming changes to the paladin class and will go live on Friday, December 23, at 3 AM PST.
More information regarding the raid by the Euphrosyne alliance, which was likened to Windows XP in the previous Live Letter, will most likely be broadcast. There’s plenty to keep players occupied till then, though. There is a lot to do and look forward to in Final Fantasy 14, with the return of the Starlight Celebration and the ongoing Moogle Treasure Trove event.
FFXIV 6.3 Release Date
According to the newest Live Letter from the Producer, patch 6.3, titled “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble,” will be released on January 10, 2023. It first aired on December 23 and included extensive data about the upgrade, such as the time frame for its arrival.
Patch 6.3 was formerly scheduled for release on January 3, 2023, in connection with Live Letters. However, its new release date of January 10, 2023, was announced in Live Letter 75. Previously, updates were released 12 days following the second installment of each patch’s Live Letter broadcast. Thus this is a change.
A December date was set as the original target. Nonetheless, the company has pushed back the release date by a month. “It would be very stressful to release it towards the end of the year,” FFXIV producer and game director Naoki Yoshida said in the most recent Live Letter from the Producer.
The new Ultimate Duty, The Omega Protocol, will be released in Update 6.31, a lesser update coming two weeks following the 6.3 updates (Ultimate). Another installment of the Manderville Relic Weapons and a brand-new Deep Dungeon are just two of the many content improvements planned for 6.35.
