Al Roker Was Rushed Back To Hospital By Ambulance: Al Roker has been readmitted to the hospital and is now receiving love from his “Today” family. It was fantastic hosting the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last week, but “we all wish that Al could have been with us,” his colleague Hoda Kotb said on air on Thursday morning.
For the first time in 27 years, the renowned “Today” meteorologist was unable to attend the event because he was getting better from a blood clot that had spread to his lungs from his leg. Roker had returned to the hospital, according to Kotb, who added that he was “under very good care,” “due to certain problems.”

He is sleeping, and his doctors are closely monitoring him, she said. Al and his family would like to express their gratitude to everyone for their love, support, and best wishes. When Kotb and Craig Melvin Facetimed Roker while they were at the parade, Roker reportedly “gave us a big thumbs up,” according to Kotb.

In a recent post, Roker celebrated getting released from the hospital in time to get home for Thanksgiving on his verified Instagram account. Two family images were posted with the message, “So extremely #thankful to be able to be home for Thanksgiving meal with family.”
