Tia Mowry Divorce: Tia Mowry, an actress who rose to popularity in the 1990s with her twin sister Tamera on the TV show “Sister, Sister,” has filed for divorce from her husband of 14 years, Cory Hardrict.
They were married in 2008 after establishing a bond based on their shared Christian beliefs, but according to Mowrey, their divorce is due to “irreconcilable differences.” According to People, the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Cairo, and their 11-year-old son, Cree, were asked for joint custody in the court application.

In a post that included a picture of her and Hardrict, Mowry also informed her Instagram fans of her impending divorce on Tuesday. “I have always been open and sincere with my supporters, and today is no different. I just wanted to let you know that Cory and I have decided to part ways. These choices are seldom simple and are often difficult to make.
“I am thankful for all the wonderful times we shared and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for their love and support as we begin this new chapter in our lives,” she said. As they co-parent their two children, Mowry said they will continue to be friends.

On her Instagram story, the “Family Reunion” star also posted a quotation that read, “Letting go can be painful. However, it won’t hurt as much as clinging to a false belief. Mowry, a devout Christian, claimed in a previous interview that Hardrict’s faith was what brought the two of them together.
