42 Days Of Darkness Season 2 Plot
Despite the fact that 42 Days of Darkness isn’t based on a true story, it is inspired by one. Viviana Haeger’s disappearance and death inspired the story of Verónica Montes, our protagonist. Her husband, Jaime Anguita, and two daughters, Viviana, vanished from their Chilean home on June 29, 2010.
On the day of her disappearance, her husband received a phone call informing him that his wife was going to be kidnapped, but he thought it was a hoax and ignored it. In the end, her husband Jaime learned of her disappearance from his daughters and alerted the authorities.
No matter how hard they tried, Viviana’s family and the police could not locate her. Her husband, Jaime, discovered her body on the roof of their home on August 10, 2010, nearly two months after she went missing. There was a possibility that Viviana had taken her own life. Subsequent investigations, however, revealed that the herbicide had actually been turned into a poison.
