The Masked Singer returns with a brand new season full of masks, performances, and shocking surprises. The ninth season of the hit reality singing competition has begun, and the judges and hosts you know and love are back to try to predict who’s singing in what.
Season 10 began on September 10 with… a launch special, sooner than in prior years. To get us pumped up for the competition, the masks got to put on a show here.
On September 27th, the first round of competitors officially began competing for a spot in the next rounds.

The Gazelle Kicks off Season 10’s Lineup
The launch of Masked Singer began with a stunningly beautiful costumed figure, Gazelle, who wowed the crowd.
To kick off the season, Gazelle sang “Uninvited” by Alanis Morissette, showcasing her strong vocal range.

There were some suggestions concerning who may be hiding behind the Gazelle mask in the character’s clue packet. They said they watched their first Broadway musical when they were six years old and were hooked ever since.
As a result, they decided to follow their passion and make a living playing music, despite the fact that things didn’t go as planned at first.
The judges speculated on the significance of an early disclosure of a bulldog and a Hawaiian outfit. They could make a nod to the performer’s alma mater or a character they’ve played.
David Spade, a comedian, actor, and presenter of the show Snake Oil, brought out another clue for Nick Cannon after the performance. The words “Movie Soundtrack” were prominently placed on the vinyl record. Gazelle told everyone that they perform in movies as both actors and singers.

Jenny guessed that the singer/actress Camila Mendes was a UGA fan since she had seen her on The CW’s Riverdale and knew that she was from Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Bulldogs. Camila’s mother’s name, Gisele, is similar to the name Gazelle, which is an intriguing fact.
Because of her role in the Fantasy Island horror film, Robin identified Lucy Hale as the wearer of the Hawaiian shirt. Also, you can hear Hale singing on the soundtrack to the movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, which she also starred in.
Nicole speculated that it may be her friend Vanessa Hudgens. The actress and singer became famous because to her role in High School Musical. Hudgens made her Broadway debut in Gigi in 2015. She has a connection to The Masked Singer’s network because she has performed on FOX’s Rent Live and Grease Live.
Meanwhile, other theories were proposed on the web. Names like Emma Stone, Idina Menzel, and Evan Rachel Wood have been thrown about as well.
