Season 5 of Star Trek: Discovery will likely also examine the Federation’s attempt to recover after the destruction of its previous incarnation. After ‘The Burn,’ a catastrophic occurrence, the Federation’s authority and influence plummeted, and it has been struggling to recover. With Earth returning to the Federation, viewers may get a chance to observe how the organization rebuilds its reputation as a moral force in the cosmos.

Star Trek Season 5 Release Date
In January 2022, the fifth season of Star Trek: Discovery was officially approved as part of a massive statement concerning the future of the Star Trek Universe. There was also news that Strange New Worlds would be revived for a second season and that Picard would conclude after its third season.
There has been no further announcement when we expect to see it again on television. Unfortunately, not even the last series gave us a rough regular release slot. The first season premiered in September 2017, the second in January 2019, the third in October 2020, and the fourth in November 2021.
Season 5 is the premiere in the second half of 2022, which is in line with the show’s usual release schedule of once per year. As we learn more, we’ll be sure to pass it along.
