Simon Cowell’s Bike Accident: “It Happened for a Reason”

In 2020, while riding an electric bike, America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell, known for his harsh criticism, suffered a catastrophic injury. Despite the upsetting event, Cowell thinks it was meant to be, demonstrating a significant change in his perspective on life. Along with fellow AGT celebrities Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Terry Crews, Cowell spoke openly about the accident’s profound effects on his physical and mental health in an interview with Jason Kennedy.

Cowell said that his pre-accident state was “painful and not great.” But even before the event, I was so unfit. Before I had to do all of this stuff afterward, I had no idea how inappropriate I was. The incident served as a wake-up call that made Cowell reevaluate his dietary habits and give his health more priority.
