Reba McEntire Postpones Concerts Due To Doctor-Ordered ‘Vocal Rest’

Reba McEntire is taking a break from her ongoing tour in the United States this fall to focus on maintaining the health of her voice. On Wednesday, the 67-year-old country artist revealed on her official Instagram account that she had “the painful decision” to reschedule three concerts that were scheduled for this coming weekend.

She stated that this decision was reached after her physician ordered her “to go on voice rest.” The performances will take place in December instead of November, and tickets bought for the earlier dates will still be valid for the new ones.

The newly rescheduled performances for Reba McEntire will take place in Columbus, Ohio; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 2, December 3, and December 16, respectively.

“Thank you for understanding!” In a post on her Instagram account, McEntire stated. The country singer and actress is still set to perform at the upcoming Country Music Awards, which will take place the following week, November 9. CNN has attempted to verify this information with CMA.

In the acting world, Reba McEntire is now a part of the third season of the mystery series “Big Sky,” created by David E. Kelley and airs on ABC. She highlighted this week’s episode by highlighting special guest stars Darius Rucker and Lyle Lovett on her Instagram account. Darius Rucker and Lyle Lovett are both country crooners and actors, just as she is.
