The Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School students, a school built by the Japanese government in the far future, are the focus of Classroom Of The Elite, which narrates their story. The policy at this institution is lax: “Talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.” Kiyotaka Ayanokji is a brilliant, emotionless, and badass protagonist.

This calm and modest youngster enters the school on purpose as a member of Class D, a group of underachieving students. Despite Ayanokji’s efforts to maintain a low profile, he engages in some relationships that gradually reveal the strength he has been concealing beneath his uninteresting demeanor. He slowly reveals the system’s true motivations to his fellow Class-D first-years.
