The actor Carl Weathers was born on 14 January 1948 in New Orleans. As a day laborer, Carl’s father was responsible for the family’s finances. When he was in eighth grade, Weathers won a sports scholarship at St. Augustine High School, where he played football, soccer, wrestling, boxing, judo, and gymnastics.
