The viewers of 90 Day Fiancé know that even while we root for our favorite couples to stay together, sometimes it’s just not meant to be. Unfortunately, not every 90 Day Fiancee makes it to the altar, since some of them were involved in scandals too shocking for even the network. It’s great to see some of the original cast members back to show us that real love can conquer any barrier, no matter how big or small.
According to After Buzz TV, Season 2 couple Justin and Evelyn Halas met at a rugby game in Colombia in 2013. In a later interview with In Touch Weekly, Justin described the initial attraction between them. “I don’t think she moved from my side for the following seven days.”
In order to marry Justin, Evelyn moved to San Jose, California on a K-1 visa, but she kept their impossibly strict and doubtful families in the dark about their plans until just before the wedding. Marriage and parenthood came early for Justin and Evelyn. Back in 2013, they first crossed paths in Colombia, where Evelyn was born and raised. They hit it off right away, and they’ve been together ever since. Similar to the other couples on 90 Day Fiancé, the couple experienced their share of highs and lows. They overcame their differences after an arduous but ultimately rewarding trip to the altar.
Justin and Evelyn may have fallen instantly in love upon meeting. While Justin was attending the 2013 World Games in Santiago de Cali, Columbia, he and his future wife met at a hot dog vendor. They both felt a spark and decided to take their relationship to the next level. Love blossomed between them during that week.
Before he even landed in the States, Justin had already made plans to return to Columbia and see her. He waited three months to pop the question because he was curious about the authenticity of their relationship. There were numerous highs and lows in Justin and Evelyn’s relationship throughout the course of the show. Are Justin And Evelyn Still Together?
In 2014, Justin and Evelin Halas appeared together on the second season of 90 Day Fiance. What they’ve been up to since then is detailed below. During the 2013 World Games in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, Evelin and Justin met each other by chance in line for a hot dog vendor. After spotting Evelin in line, Justin mustered up all of his Spanish skills to strike up a conversation with her.
Justin recalled to In Touch, “There was an instant spark, and for the following seven days I don’t think she left my side even once.” “Three months later, I ended up coming back to Colombia to check whether this romance was real and towards the end of that journey, I ended up proposing to her.”
And so Justin applied for a K-1 visa and brought Evelin back to the United States. Season 2 of 90 Days to a Wife focused on the couple’s struggles to adapt to their new culture and build relationships with their new families. It was Justin’s expectation that Evelin would do the dishes when he was done, and Evelin was not delighted by the prospect.
In addition, Justin had not notified his family that he was dating anybody prior to his engagement to Evelin, so they were naturally wary of the new relationship. Nonetheless, Evelin became close to his mother and ultimately persuaded Justin to bring his relatives to the wedding. These two tied the knot back in 2014.
Even though they’ve been married for seven years, Evelin and Justin are still very much in love with one other. This year, they had their first child, a son they named Nathan. When Evelin found out she was pregnant at age 35, she was taken aback. She told In Touch, “Justin and I went to the doctor to [get] another pregnancy test the other day since it was hard to believe.”
Three tests, she said, “all positive.” She added, “Never believed it was going to happen.” It was wonderful news for Justin, and the two of them were looking forward to becoming parents. In December of 2020, Evelin learned she was expecting a baby; in September of the following year, she posted on Instagram that her son, Nathan, had been born.
Six hours of labor later, “He arrived into this [earth], and we acquired the title of parents!” she said. While she first hid Nathan’s face in some of the photos she shared, she eventually showed off her newborn son. This new family has made San Jose, California, their permanent home.

Evelin shared information and photos from the couple’s recent trip to Hawaii, as well as several images of the newborn. After settling in the United States, Evelin formally changed her name to Evelyn.
