Actress, comedian, and writer Amy Louise Sedaris is from the United States. Her most recent appearances were as Peli Motto in The Mandalorian (2019–2023) and The Book of Boba Fett (2022). In the comedy series Strangers with Candy on Comedy Central (1999–2000) and the 2005 prequel feature Strangers with Candy (which she also wrote), she portrayed Jerri Blank.
In addition to playing Princess Carolyn in the Netflix animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), Sedaris also starred as Hurshe Heartshe in the Adult Swim comedy series The Heart, She Holler (2013–2014), and as Mimi Kanasis in the Netflix sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2020).

Sedaris humorously disclosed that she was single and had no kids while making an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Sedaris first suggested that she didn’t have time because she had a husband and kids to attend to, then claimed that she had plenty of time shortly after asking to see the studio.

Sedaris was identified as the godmother of John Paul and Luca, Dinello and St. Laurent’s two children, by a witness who was Dinello, a producer on Stephen Colbert’s show. As a result, since the late 1980s, the three have maintained their friendship on a personal and professional level.
