John Aniston, a veteran actor and star of the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives, has passed away at the age of 89. Actress Jennifer Aniston, his daughter, posted the news of her father’s passing on Instagram on November 14, 2022.
In addition to Search for Tomorrow, his film and TV credits include The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, and Mad Men.

Jennifer Aniston wrote a touching obituary for her late father on November 14th, 2022, revealing his death on November 11th, or “11/11.”
She wrote, “Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now 🕊️I’ll love you till the end of time💔Don’t forget to visit.”

There was no mention of John’s death cause in the actress’s post. John probably died of natural causes due to his advanced age and absence of recognized health problems.
John Aniston, whose birth name was Yiannis Anastasakis, grew up in a household of four on the Greek island of Crete, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. John’s early exposure to Chester, Pennsylvania, where his father opened a restaurant, sparked an early interest in the performing arts on his part.
After finishing his time in the Navy, he landed his first guest starring role on the CBS show Brenner.
Since then, he has guest-starred on a wide variety of TV shows, but his longest-running role was as the villain Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives. Before playing Victor in 1985, he had previously appeared on the show as a doctor beginning in 1969. He remained in the post to the very end.
