The witch cast for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, a WandaVision spinoff from Marvel Studios, looks fierce. According to Variety, Aubrey Plaza, the beloved Evil Hag and Christmas Witch of the internet will appear in an undisclosed role on the upcoming Disney+ series.
If this isn’t a witch, then something is wrong with their casting choices. As the lead of Noah Hawley’s FX series Legion, Plaza has already participated in the Marvel television universe (which was based loosely on the X-Men universe). Plaza’s versatility as the series villain’s crazed avatar was highlighted by her remarkable performance.

We’re happy to see that she might turn bad once more because we know that she and Kathryn Hahn, who co-starred on Parks and Recreation with her, have the ideal crazy chemistry. Kathryn Hahn will be repeating her WandaVision role as Agatha Harkness.

Along with Emma Caulfield Ford, Joe Locke from Heartstopper has recently joined Agatha: Coven of Chaos in an unspecified capacity. Heartstopper’s Joe Locke will reprise Dottie from WandaVision. The series plot is being kept a well-guarded secret, likely with the help of several hex spells from Marvel’s coven of secrecy.

The Scarlett Witch, whose body was never seen in the conclusion of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has not been seen since there have been reports that a show focusing on the Vision, which may be called VisionQuest (awful name, honestly), is also in the works. I’ve got a lot invested in the cast of Westview characters, so bring back Billy, Tommy, and the rest of them, please.
