The latest leaks confirmed ZTE’s plans to support its upcoming ZTE AXON 30 PRO with Samsung’s 200-megapixel sensor.
ZTE presented the Axon 20 Pro phone during the last period as the first version that includes a sensor for the front camera at the bottom of the screen. It is the only version available in the market with this technology so far. And today the latest leaks reveal some details about the next version of the ZTE AXON 30 PRO.
Samsung’s distinctive 108-megapixel sensors have spread in many versions of smartphones during the past period. In the Axon 30 Pro, ZTE is preparing to support the phone with an upgrade in the primary sensor that comes with a resolution of 200 megapixels from Samsung.
Xiaomi has recently moved to use Samsung’s distinctive 108-megapixel sensors in the mid-range versions. So the new upgrade comes in the company’s premium phones later this year.
The leaks published on Weibo about the Axon 30 Pro will include a Samsung sensor with the model number S5KGND, a sensor size of 1 / 1.37, and a pixel size of 1.28um for the pixel size of 0.64.
The Samsung sensor also comes with 4-pixel merging technology in one point to support the production of a 50-megapixel image, or with 16: 1 that supports the production of 12.5-megapixel photos.
