Actress Priyanka Chopra related a tale her mother-in-law Denise had shared with her about witnessing her win the Miss World competition in 2000. Denise told Priyanka that when she was watching the competition, a seven-year-old Nick Jonas came to watch her win the title of Miss World.
Priyanka stated she wasn’t sure how to feel about this revelation because it emphasizes their age difference on Jennifer Hudson’s talk program. Priyanka and Nick got married in 2018, and she expressed her happiness at being lately referred to as a “long-time couple.”
She narrated the tale, saying, “When my mother-in-law told me the story, I was like, ‘I don’t know…’. I won the Miss World pageant when I was barely 18 years old. It happened in London. I turned 18 in July, so it was November at the time. I had little experience because I was a complete youngster who had no idea what she was doing or what this world involved.

My mother-in-law reportedly said, “I remember watching you when you won!” In the year 2000, I was in London. The location was Texas. ‘There’s no way,’ I exclaimed. She remarked, “I remember it so clearly because it was November,” Priyanka continued. At the age of 7, Nick performed in a Broadway production. When he was 8 or 9, his brother performed in a Broadway play.

She also mentioned that because my father-in-law, Kevin Sr., enjoys watching pageants, I recall this incident distinctly. “I recall Nick came and sat down to watch you win while he was watching it,” he said. which is incomprehensible! That happened, like, 22 years ago. He was 7 and I was 17.
He was watching while he was seated there. It was so odd. I do believe that couples are designed to be together for however long that should last in a person’s life. Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, the couple’s daughter, was born in January of last year. She most recently appeared in the high-budget Prime Video series Citadel, which was followed by the love story Love Again.
