Maryanne Trump Barry, the former federal judge and older sister of former President Donald Trump, passed away on March 16 at the age of 86 at her home in New York.
The New York Police Department has verified that police were dispatched to her Manhattan apartment around 4:30 a.m., where they found her body. The reason for death is yet unknown.

As the eldest child of real estate developer Fred Trump and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, she was born in Queens, New York City, USA.
She is the older sibling of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Her formal schooling began at Kew-Forest School. She graduated with honors from Mount Holyoke College in 1958 and Columbia University’s Master of Public Law and Government program in 1962. After that, she went on to earn her J.D. from Hofstra University’s School of Law in 1974.
She focused her career on the legal field. She practiced law in the United States and later became a federal judge there.
After spending the previous thirteen years at home raising her family, Barry entered the legal profession in 1974 as one of only two women out of a total of sixty-two attorneys at the office of the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
