She is the older sibling of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Her formal schooling began at Kew-Forest School. She graduated with honors from Mount Holyoke College in 1958 and Columbia University’s Master of Public Law and Government program in 1962. After that, she went on to earn her J.D. from Hofstra University’s School of Law in 1974.

She focused her career on the legal field. She practiced law in the United States and later became a federal judge there.
