An autopsy determined that the years-ago operation Lisa Marie Presley had was the direct cause of her death. The only child of Elvis Presley, she suffered from a complication of bariatric surgery known as small intestinal obstruction.

The autopsy report for Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54, was released six months later. Her abrupt death was later determined to be the result of cardiac arrest, as reported at the time. According to the autopsy report, Presley complained of abdominal pain the morning of the day she passed away. The coroner said she had complained of this ailment, along with fever, nausea, and vomiting, for months before her death.

Lisa Marie Presley will be laid to rest at the Graceland cemetery alongside her famous father. An official statement said, “Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben,” and was released by Riley Keough’s representative to People.
