The actor’s divisive presence follows his victory in a defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Rihanna, the creator of Savage X Fenty, is being thanked by Johnny Depp.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor teased his involvement in the singer’s most recent annual fashion show on social media on Wednesday.
Since 2019, this occasion has been Rihanna’s fourth fashion adventure on Amazon Prime. In an Instagram video with over 9.5 million views, Depp poses in front of technicolour lights while wearing sunglasses, a button-down shirt with some skin showing, and a variety of silver chain necklaces.

The veteran actor sauntered into a dark woodland while fog machines billowed, his hair tied back in a ponytail and wearing his trademark layered necklaces. After a few dancers joined him, the Golden Globe winner finished his cameo by hugging a tree.
He would be making his first significant in-person appearance at the occasion after his widely publicized legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, HuffPost confirmed only days before the event.

The decision by Rihanna to incorporate Depp in her act was met with a flurry of negative and positive comments on Twitter. Surely Rihanna isn’t serious? If there are so many attractive and well-behaved men in Hollywood, why is Johnny Depp the one who appeals to you the most? a user posted.
The Grammy winner was backed by others, one of whom said that “she can have anybody she wants in her program.” A Virginia jury awarded Depp $15 million in damages earlier this year in his defamation case against Heard, who accused him of sexual assault and domestic violence.

In a countersuit against the actor, the jury also gave Heard, who continues to claim that Depp mistreated her, $2 million in compensatory damages. Heard’s accusation that she had experienced domestic violence while married to Depp was the basis of the prosecution’s case against her in a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece.
The op-ed finally prompted Depp to sue her for defamation for harm to his career as a result of the story’s publication. “Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4” was released only a few months after “Moon Person” star Johnny Depp caused controversy by making an unexpected virtual cameo at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.

In a pre-recorded part, the actor appeared virtually during the unexpected moment at the Prudential Center arena in Newark, New Jersey, in August, with his face superimposed onto the VMA’s Moonman.
Whitney Heard, who at the time criticized the network as “disgusting and clearly desperate,” had mixed feelings about that particular incident. Amazon Prime is currently offering “Savage X Fenty Vol. 4” for streaming.
