Nicole Avery Cox was born in 1978 and went on to become one of the most well-known television actors of the 1990s. She played a number of roles on several television shows; Unhappily Ever After, Las Vegas and Nikki were among the most notable. Despite this, she has had other smaller parts and cameos on a wide range of TV shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Baywatch.

The actress, who is currently thirty-six years old, appears to have had her career canceled since about 2009. Many people believe that Nikki Cox’s career was destroyed by cosmetic operations and plastic surgery on her face. Has Nikki Cox undergone cosmetic surgery?

Has Nikki Cox Had Plastic Surgery?

Even though Cox’s career seemed to take off for more than ten years, it’s possible that her decision to change how she looked—accompanied by some dramatic plastic surgery—was what put her back in the news.

It is unknown whether or when Cox underwent any surgeries because, as of 2009, her focus appears to have shifted to voice-over work. Though many were perplexed by Cox’s metamorphosis, the paparazzi did manage to get pictures of her in 2013 with incredibly swollen lips and a puffy face.

In those images, Cox was described as “a far cry from her former self” by Radar Online and as “almost unrecognizable” and “looking older than her 34 years old” by Daily Mail. It may surprise you to learn that despite Cox’s drastic makeover, the renowned plastic surgeon says she did not even “go under the knife.”

How Has Nikki Responded to the Allegations of Plastic Surgery?

Nikki Cox, the actress most known for her role in the NBC drama Las Vegas, had a radical makeover that many in the media speculated was the result of plastic surgery years after her last big role.

Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Fiorillo stated to Radar Online that “she definitely appears to have gotten some sort of filler in her cheeks and lips, which could be either Perlane or Restylane.” Fiorillo did not treat the Lonely Street star.

Fiorillo’s observations suggest that Cox may have gone overboard with the fillers, even though many stars undoubtedly use them. He stated that “injectables always look best on a person when they are not noticeable, not when everyone can tell that the person had work done!

Although it may appear that Cox had a drastic makeover, the plastic surgeon continued, Fiorillo does not think that Cox had an intrusive facelift. “It may look like she has because it is overdone, but in my opinion, I do not think she went under the knife,” he stated to Radar Online.

Given that the former TV star has largely avoided the spotlight since her 2016 breakup with actor Jay Mohr, it’s unclear if she’s still receiving fillers. In her application for sole custody of their kid, the Picture Perfect actress mentioned “Nikki’s ongoing refusal to attend to her mental health issues… her abuse of drugs, and her failure to respect boundaries” (source: People).

Cox never addressed the allegations made by her former partner in the divorce papers or the persistent suspicions about plastic surgery that have dogged her professional life.
