A $725 New Year’s Eve Party: Famous chef David Kinch said he would consider offers for both the company and the property when he revealed in August that he would be departing Manresa, the Los Gatos icon he established over two decades.

A $725 New Year’s Eve blowout supper will be the culmination of a month of joyful prix fixe meals that will feature “extraordinary goods, concepts, and dishes old and new.” Even though the restaurant property is for sale, 320 Village Lane still has some cachet. With “luxury extras at every turn, with no further supplement charges for premium pleasures like truffles, caviar, and treasures from the wine cellar,” the sumptuous Dec. 31 feast will cost $725 ($325 optional wine pairings).

November reservations are all taken. Beginning at midnight on November 14, reservations for the final month’s meals will be taken on Tock. For the right restaurateur, Collliers’ Machado described the Manresa building and property as a rare turnkey opportunity, complete with a fully functional, high-end kitchen, furniture for a restaurant and bar, and even a liquor license.

There is a $5.75 million price tag. We’re attempting to replace it with a different fine dining establishment, Machado added. “You might be open in a week if you change the name, hire a chef, and bring in some food.”
