Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner were present at the annual fashion event where Kim received the first Innovation Award for her Skims line. At the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday night, the Kardashian-Jenner crew dressed to the nines to honour Kim Kardashian.
To accept the Innovation Award for Skims given by Amazon fashion, Kim, 42, chose a strapless Dolce & Gabbana décolleté dress in black translucent PVC, a 2007 design that was relaunched as part of her CiaoKim collaboration with the Italian brand.

On the red carpet, she also mentioned that she was wearing her brand of Skims under the dress. Khloé Kardashian shone beside Kim Kardashian, the night’s honoree, in a bronze LaQuan Smith cutout gown with a train that showed off her toned abs and right arm while covering the rest of her body in second-skin material.
Kim claims that even though this is the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s second time honouring her, it still shocks her just as much as it did the first. In response to the question, Kim said, “If you were to ask my adolescent self if I imagined this is where I would be, absolutely not.
“I’m so appreciative that whenever I think about these incredible possibilities and things that have come my way, I have to pinch myself.” The Skims squad won, according to Kim, and any recognition is meaningful.
“What we’ve built for Skims means everything, and I’m so excited just for our entire team at Skims, who works so hard,” the author said. Kendall, Kylie, and Kris Jenner all dazzled on the red carpet while sporting their signature looks.
In a photo with her mother on the red carpet, Kylie was wearing a Mugler gown with a black velvet skirt and translucent mesh at the top, as well as a corresponding translucent sleeve on her right arm.
Kris chose a stunning, all-black Schiaparelli gown with satin trim around her neck and matching gold stud earrings. Kendall chose to deviate from her family, who wore mostly dark hues, by dressing in a straightforward yet seductive Khaite white sequined v-neck gown and leaving her hair down.
Kim was also given a CFDA award in 2018 in recognition of her prominence as an influencer in the field. I am astonished that I am winning a fashion award considering I am naked most of the time, she had remarked during the ceremony.
It’s a journey for me that I’m here receiving a fashion award when it’s something I’ve always loved, she added, adding that she had to overcome many challenges to get to where she is now.
