Legend has it that Harrods’ Christmas windows are legendary, but for the 2022 holiday season, the storied department store has truly outdone itself by transforming into a massive, ultra-chic gingerbread house thanks to Dior. Yes, I do.
The Fabulous World of Dior, which was unveiled on Thursday, is the largest brand takeover Harrods has ever done. Consider a massive, 17-meter Shepherd’s Star sculpture, gingerbread-themed displays, warm, caramel-hued interiors, and Dior-ified cookies in both edible and non-edible forms all over the place. Of course, there are also quite a few exclusive goods you may add to your Christmas list.

The new Le Café Dior is a must-visit for foodies and aesthetes alike, and with its toile de Jouy-covered furnishings, delectable brunches, and high-fashion-inspired cookies, it will undoubtedly become an influencer destination in no time (and taste just as good as they look).

But the display has to be Dior’s shining crown’s crown jewel. Visitors are taken on a magical, immersive journey through Mr Christian Dior’s world via intricate installations of 30 Avenue Montaigne, his childhood home in Granville, and his manor house, La Colle Noir, which is free to visit and is located beneath Dior’s accessories department (you can book your slot online here).

Consider little Dior dresses, sweet animations, Mr Dior as a gingerbread man or child envisioning his future as a well-known fashion designer, as well as potentially this takeover.
