Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War about?

The award-winning manga series Bleach was developed by Tite Kubo. The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump between August 2001 and August 2016. Bleach has become one of history’s most popular manga series and has attracted fans worldwide. It gave rise to an extensive media franchise that has generated movies, video games, musicals, a live-action movie adaption, and a ton of merchandising.

The main character of Bleach is Ichigo Kurosaki, who acquires supernatural abilities after Rukia Kuchiki imparts her talent to him. Ichigo must now balance his high school obligations with helping battle Hollows and other Soul Reaper duties.

The new Bleach TYBW season 2 trailer doesn’t hold back on the goodies.

The trailer begins right where the first season left off, with Uryu Ishida, a close friend of Ichigo Kurosaki, appearing to swear loyalty to Yhwach. A quick-cut montage follows, featuring returning characters from the first season and some brand-new ones. Both the Quincies and the Soul Reapers have a ton of power-ups, which undoubtedly leads to a gory conclusion.

The Fifth Squad captain Hirako Shinji’s Bankai utterance, which was only disclosed in the spin-off light novel series Can’t Fear Your World, is the most striking feature of the trailer (apart from Ichigo’s chiselled back). If Shinji’s Bankai is accepted as canon in the anime, other material may appear in later seasons; a light novel adaptation may even be planned.
