Adele Launches Las Vegas Residency: As she began the first night of her postponed run, Adele gushed about how “wonderful” and “exactly like I thought” her Las Vegas residency show would be. As she launched the performance at the Colosseum venue at the Caesars Palace hotel, the singer broke down in tears as she expressed gratitude to her fans for “coming back to me.”
As she entered the stage, she was greeted by a standing ovation but claimed she should be giving it. She told them, “I’m delighted you came back to me. “It appears exactly as I had anticipated.

Thanks, it’s just incredible. “I don’t get to get off stage for about 50 minutes, so I’m going to have the nasty face of smeared makeup for the whole first portion of the show,” Adele added in her signature lighthearted tone.
“I’m extremely anxious, terrified, and joyful. My nerves are out of control, and this week is a fairly major week for me, so that it could be a little shaky sometimes. Sunday is the final episode of The Walking Dead! It’s opening night, the Walking Dead, the Grammys, and the World Cup.”

Before beginning the first song of the evening, a performance of her 2015 number-one hit Hello, the singer said that the night “began modestly” and was met with another standing ovation.
Adele performed intensely moving songs from her four studio albums throughout the evening, most of which were accompanied by breathtaking visuals. Easy On Me, her second number-one single, came after Hello.
I Drink Wine, Oh My God, and Cry Your Heart Out were among the other tracks on her most recent album, 30, which won a Brit Award. The Oscar-winning James Bond theme, Skyfall, was also performed for the fans, with visual effects that showed the performer against a blazing background.

Adele shot a T-shirt cannon into the crowd at one point during the performance. She instructed the receiver, “It’s an autographed T-shirt, a handwritten letter, and $50 — go get a drink.” The singer had abruptly postponed her Vegas run earlier this year on Instagram, informing fans in a sad statement that the show was “not ready.”
Adele posted on Instagram on Thursday night that she had “never been more terrified before a gig in my career” but that she could not contain her excitement. “As I write this, I’m having all kinds of feelings. I can’t sit still because I’m so eager, but I’m also quite nervous and highly emotional,” she stated while posting a photo of herself during practice.
“I always feel anxious before performances, and I view this as a positive indicator since it shows that I care and want to perform well. But it’s safe to say that never in my career have I been more anxious before a show—while also wishing that today were tomorrow! I’m excited to see you there x.
Adele expressed her gratitude to Caesars Palace for their support after the run was rescheduled and expressed her honour at playing there. “Since I cancelled my gigs, a lot of crap has been written about me, so I’d like to thank Caesars.
“I assure you 90% of it is made up,” the actor said. “There have been rumours that I’ve moved hotels, theatres, and other places, but never once have they questioned me.” Before the event even started, thousands of fans who had come from all over the world to see it gathered outside the arena and flooded inside as soon as the doors opened.

Attendees admitted that returning to Las Vegas for her postponed performance “did not feel real,” but they were confident it would be “worth the wait.” Others spoke of getting “butterflies” and not wanting to have too high of expectations in case they were let down again.
Some fans claimed they were “triggered” by the singer’s subsequent last-minute post before realizing it was positive. “It doesn’t feel real, it’s finally here, and it feels like forever ago that we were here,” said Amy Jaron, 23, of Los Angeles, California.

It was a beautiful thing to happen out of a sad incident that occurred since we met so many individuals. We appreciate being reunited. Brazilian medical student Rafael Faci, 23, claimed he had skipped numerous tests to visit the US once more for the performance.
Adele’s performance at Caesars Palace was initially scheduled to start at the Colosseum on January 21, 2022, and go until April 16, 2022. Her new run will include the 24 rescheduled performances in addition to eight extra days, and it will run from November 18 to March 25.
