When TikTok user @klarissa.mpeg shared screenshots of a text conversation with a friend in a now-viral video, the friend then claimed that she was the pair’s hostess at an undisclosed restaurant in the city, sparking the first rumors about the two. Also, she insisted that she witnessed Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik holding hands at their supper.
According to a report by Entertainment Tonight, Selena was seen out to dinner with the ex-member of One Direction on Thursday night in New York City. According to the witness who spoke to the outlet, “About 10:30 p.m. yesterday, Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City. They were kissing as they entered, holding hands. Most diners and restaurant personnel were unaware of them.
It was obvious that they were on a date because they appeared to be at ease with one another.” Selena recently surpassed Kylie Jenner (who has 382 million followers) to become the first female Instagram user to exceed 400 million followers, making her the platform’s most famous female user.
