Yes Day 2 Release Date

Yes, Day premiered in March of 2021, and the film was renewed sometime later. But unfortunately, Netflix has not announced any specific release date for Yes Day 2.

Cast

The sequel will revolve around the same family so that the main protagonists will come back as the same characters!

Jeniffer Garner will reprise her role as the mother (Allison Torres) and the film’s producer. She will be accompanied by Édgar Ramírez as Carlos Torres, Jenna Ortega as Katie Torres, Julian Lerner as Evan ‘Nando’ Torres, and Everly Carganilla as Ellie Torres.

As Netflix has not announced the official line-up for the film yet, it is difficult to predict who will be starring in Yes Day 2. But as soon as the filmmakers announce any details regarding the casting, we’ll update this site at the earliest. So, stay tuned!

Plot

In Yes Day, it was shown that the Torres family was brought close together through a special day called “Yes Day.” On this particular day, the parents (Allison and Carlos) agreed to everything their children asked for. This way, they had many adventurous events.

Through this unique strategy, the kids finally start seeing their mother as their friend and not a “tyrant” who always says no to their requests. However, the film ended on a traditional cliffhanger which also paved the way for a second film, “Yes Day 2,” to follow.

In the finale, Allison confesses to her husband that she loves these special days that the Torres family is spending together and that she can’t wait for the next “Yes Day,” but here comes the plot twist when Carlos adapts a more stern approach towards his children. He is no more the cool dad he used to be.

The sequel will most likely focus on this character development of Carlos and the reaction of his family to this drastic change. It will be quite intriguing to see the Torres family go through another major change. Will it prove to be good for them? Or will the following film tarnish the family’s relationship forever?

Guess we will have to wait till Netflix discloses the official synopsis for “Yes Day 2”! It will surely be a long wait, but hopefully, it will be worth it.
