Blizzard Entertainment appears to have disclosed the release date for the World of Warcraft Classic’s Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Wrath of the Lich King, the expansion that will follow The Burning Crusade’s release for WoW Classic, was announced by Blizzard earlier this year.
Although we haven’t learned much about the WotLK expansion since it was announced, it appears that we may now be aware of its release date. A recent update to the official World of Warcraft website stated the release date for Wrath of the Lich King Classic as September 26, 2022.
The fact that Blizzard rapidly removed this information from the website led people to believe that the release date had already been made public before an official announcement. However, Blizzard hasn’t publicly addressed the issue since this disclosure, leaving fans with more concerns than answers.

Although there is a chance that this date was published in error, the fact that it was on the official WoW website gives this leak a lot of credibilities. Similar leaks to this one that we have seen in the past have frequently turned out to be reliable.
