Nintendo Switch gamers may have their most anticipated game since the original Zelda: The Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo Direct at E3 2021, we now have a few solid details about the game, including our first glimpse at gameplay, which is still a big mystery.

Several of these characters have been in previous Zelda games, but most are new to Breath of the Wild and have only appeared in this game.

It reminds me of the worlds of Wind Waker and Skyward Sword, both of which saw Hyrule submerged beneath a smattering of tiny islands.

As of July 2022, series producer Eiji Aonuma announced that Breath of the Wild 2 would be delayed until at least 2023.

We previously anticipated the game would be released in 2022 based on the Nintendo Direct E3 2021 stream. In an update, Nintendo confirmed that the Wild 2 was released in Spring 2023.

Nintendo chose not to show off Breath of the Wild 2 at the Direct stream in September, and the game was also absent from this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

At E3 2019, where Nintendo unveiled a first-look trailer, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2’s development was confirmed.
