TikTok Characters Join Final Fantasy Game The Adding of Rae Addison

Addison Rae, an actress and TikTok sensation, has joined the mythical heroes and warriors cast in an unexpected Final Fantasy crossover. In a joint effort with Addison Rae, the mobile game War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Game Brave Exvius has two Vision Cards and the TikTok star as a unit.

A turn-based strategy game based on the Final Fantasy Tactics series, War of the Visions is a spin-off of the original Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Many actual mechanics are still present in War of the Visions, but with 3D characters and a stronger tactical emphasis.

According to a new Square Enix trailer (via Polygon), Addison Rae will be joining the cast of the mobile game that is based on Final Fantasy Tactics.

The WotV: FFBE website states that the well-known TikTok user will first appear as a unique Vision Card, then a second Vision Card collaboration later this winter, and finally an Addison Rae unit in 2023. The Final Fantasy series has long been a favourite of Rae’s, and she says she is “glad to collaborate with Square Enix in an official position finally.”

In Final Fantasy Game, Addison Rae Isn’t The First Famous Person To Visit

Rae appears on the first War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Vision Card riding a Chocobo alongside the character Mont Leonis and sporting her signature crop top. The star’s phone, which serves as her primary communication tool, is also displayed in this piece of art in the corner, surrounded by blooms.

In WotV: FFBE, vision cards can be equipped to increase a variety of stats, such as resistance to various sorts of damage and general accuracy, while it is yet unknown what advantages will come with Rae’s.

Celebrities appearing in video games is nothing uncommon; previous crossovers between Final Fantasy and Fortnite featured Ariana Grande, for instance. Grande frequently made appearances in the original game as various varieties, including Chic Ariana and Charming Kitty Ariana, while Katy Perry made her way to the title.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, in particular, has a history of collaborating with prominent people. With over 88 million followers, Addison Rae makes perfect sense to appear in War of the Visions as part of the spin-off following the original’s celebrity history, even though she might seem like an odd pick to those unfamiliar with the star.

In general, opinions of the mobile Final Fantasy games have not always been the best. In addition to the broader issue of console releases being preferred by most players, controversy regarding Final Fantasy banners violating Japanese gacha laws hasn’t helped the series’ reputation among fans.

The addition of Addison Rae to War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius may seem to some who don’t know her to fan these flames even further, but there is probably a lot of crossover between mobile gamers and TikTok viewers, at least in terms of their preferred device, so many will likely recognize and enjoy Rae’s inclusion.
