A fan favorite and seven-time champion, Johny “Bananas” Devenanzio, returns in Ride or Dies, the first non-spinoff season of “The Challenge” since “Spies, Lies, & Allies” in 2021. Contestants from “The Real World,” “Road Rules,” “Big Brother,” “Love Island,” “Ex on the Beach,” and other popular reality shows are among the cast.

MTV claims that 17 teams compete in “The Challenge: Ride or Dies.” The new reality show will test the relationships that seem unbreakable to outsiders. Teams of two will compete for a $1 million prize pool, and the participants will range from familiar names like Bananas and Nany and Darrell and Veronica to brand-new terms from reality shows.
