Ozzy Osbourne canceled his future performances and declared his touring career was made because he “is not physically capable (of it).” In a statement posted Wednesday, the 74-year-old said he had a catastrophic accident four years ago that damaged his spine and that he can no longer handle tour travel.

Osbourne, who left Black Sabbath in 1978, earned Grammy Awards for his solo and band work. Osbourne canceled his 2019 tour on Wednesday, saying he was “honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently hung onto your tickets for all this time.”
His last European and UK tour began in Helsinki, Finland, in May. In January 2020, the heavy metal legend was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and in April 2022, he contracted Covid-19 and had surgery.
In the statement, Osbourne said his team is “now coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to go from city to city and nation to country.” “For their endless commitment, loyalty, and support, and for providing me the life that I never dreamt I would have,” he said.
