Police sources reported that a 63-year-old man leaped to his deἀth from a luxury Lower Manhattan building on Thursday (20 July), a day after two elderly men jumped to their deἀths from separate buildings further uptown.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., the senior reportedly jumped from the roof of the 63-story 50 West St. building near Rector Street in the Financial District.
The man was discovered unconscious and unresponsive on the ground, with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position, and pronounced deἀd at the scene, according to the police. He was not identified immediately.
