Mark Wahlberg Hints at ‘Entourage’ Reboot Rumors

In the wake of rumors that the popular HBO series “Entourage” may be returning, Mark Wahlberg said he would support a reboot. At the official launch of Tao’s restaurant Cathédrale at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night, Wahlberg, 51, exclusively told Page Six, “I don’t know if that’s going to happen, but I would support it.” The sitcom, which Wahlberg co-executive produced and said was inspired mainly by his ascent to Hollywood celebrity, was dubbed a “cultural phenomenon.”

Wahlberg acknowledged, “I was always sad to see the show end,” and said he’s unsure whether there have been any serious discussions about a revival. The “Entourage” actors Adrian Grenier (Vincent Chase), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), and Kevin Dillon (Jonny “Drama” Chase) was “loved” by the “Ted 2” actor, who added that he would enjoy seeing them all together again. They performed a fantastic job, said Wahlberg.

Even before filming the HBO series’ debut episode, shot throughout eight seasons from 2004 to 2011, he recalls bringing the former cast members to Vegas to ensure they had chemistry. “I took all the guys to Vegas before we shot the pilot… Wahlberg, who moved to Las Vegas last year, told us there was some chemistry when getting ready to arrive and let loose. “I now reside here, and it seems like only yesterday.” Wahlberg predicted there would be less of a party if “Entourage” were revived today.

“It would look like an older group of guys probably doing things more like me, going to church and, you know, hopefully having families and getting up early and working out,” Wahlberg chuckled, adding a reboot. “May not be as exciting as when they were running the nightclubs and running all over Vegas,” said the speaker.

The creator, Doug Ellin, revealed that he is shopping for a new show featuring some original cast members. However, it was not clear whether the series would be a complete revival. “There are several of them in a new exhibition we have. Ellin, 55, tweeted, “Soon, I hope #rambleon. I pitched a show idea and thought we had an agreement with an extensive production firm, but I don’t think it will materialize.

Ellin previously hinted at wanting to do a revival and said in 2021 that all the project needs is Wahlberg’s support. “Big news, Adrian Grenier said he’s in,” In August 2021, Ellin told TMZ, “I got all of them. So, I wouldn’t do it without the five, and everything will be fine if [executive producer] Mark Wahlberg calls HBO and gets it done.

Additionally, a number of the original cast members have indicated interest in joining the revival. Piven, 57, expressed his desire to look into reuniting the crew last month. In April, Piven told E! News, “It would be interesting to see where all these folks would be today. There has been so much change since then that further investigation would be quite fruitful.

Last year, Dillon, 57, acknowledged that he thinks about a reboot every day. “I would love to do it, and I’m pretty sure everyone in the cast would love to do it, and I’d push it all the time,” Dillon said to Comingsoon.net in 2022. However, Grenier, 46, acknowledged that despite his busy schedule, he would probably accept a reboot depending on the terms.

“I’ll examine the deal first. It is what? Who or what are we? Grenier told Entertainment Weekly in August 2021, “I’m fairly open to anything. Although I’m currently fairly focused, if there was a chance to revive “Entourage,” I would, without a doubt, check into it. Even though Wahlberg expressed support for the show’s revival, he is undoubtedly busy with other projects, such as his tequila company, Flecha Azul.
