Kevin Costner’s Wife, Christine Baumgartner, Files for Divorce

After 18 years of marriage to the “Yellowstone” actor, handbag designer Christine Baumgartner has filed for divorce, The Post has learned. A representative for the 68-year-old actor, who is already embroiled in ongoing drama on his Paramount Network show, confirmed to The Post that Mr. Costner must participate in a dissolution of marriage action.

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired,” the representative said. The representative continued, “We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they move through this challenging period. Cayden Wyatt, 15, Hayes Logan, 14, and Grace Avery, 12, are the couple’s three children. According to a TMZ report, Baumgartner, 49, is requesting joint custody of the children.

According to reports, Costner submitted his response on Tuesday and included a request for joint custody. According to TMZ, Baumgartner is not requesting spousal support. Still, Costner’s response, sent by divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, allegedly acknowledges the existence of a prenuptial agreement: “Spousal support to be payable to petitioner according to the terms of the parties’ Premarital Agreement.”
