Gospel music brought Jackson great joy as he and his four elder sisters grew up in a humble family. But his interest in country music was sparked when a buddy introduced him to performers like Gene Watson, John Anderson, and Hank Williams Jr. A spectacular career would be launched at this critical juncture.
