Elden Ring Release Date

During E3 2021, Geoff Keighley announced that Elden Ring would launch worldwide on 19th January 2022! It will be available on all of the latest consoles; PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. However, we don’t have any updates on its release on the new Nintendo Switch. And for those gamers who don’t have the latest consoles, Elden Ring will have updates for them, meaning that you can play the game on outdated platforms too!

Gameplay

Game Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has given a great deal of information on the gameplay of Elden Ring, so we don’t have to rely on the leaks now. The players will play the game from a third-person perspective, and it does resemble its predecessors to some extent. Elden Ring will mainly focus on combat and exploration.

The players will traverse throughout the area, but they will have to begin their journey with a linear opening. There will be a demi-god protecting it in each new area and who will also be your main enemies. The weapons will have diverse variations, meaning that they won’t be restricted to certain skills! The most exciting feature of Elden Ring is that it contains a fast travel system along with player mounts. A stealth system and mounted combat will ensure that players can strategize their encounters according to the enemy they are fighting.

The summoning mechanics update will let you order the spirits and even the previously defeated enemies to assist you in a battle. These spirits are scattered all over the map of the Elden Ring. And as it is a multi-player game, you can also summon other players to help you!

You will be allowed to freely explore the Land Between, including the 6 main areas and the castles, fortresses, and catacombs! You won’t access the same location after reincarnation if you die in the middle of the game. And this is where the fast-travel transportation system will come in handy; it will encourage the players by providing them with more ways of healing.

Elden Ring System Requirements:

The preferred minimum requirements for Elden Ring are listed down below:

Plot

The game is set in the Lands Between, sometime after the Elden Rings got destroyed. Now the realm is ruled by the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal. Each of these offspring possesses “A Shard of The Rings,” which keeps their power intact. The challenge for the player is to explore the realm and to find the Great Runes. Once this task is accomplished, then next, the player will have to restore the Elden Ring and consequently become an Elden Lord!
